Brief Project Description:
Innovation in the local aquaculture sector through the adoption of new technologies and tools, with the aim of improving production and processing techniques. The project develops and tests, through pilot actions, an integrated multitrophic polyculture system of triploid oysters and native macroalgae in lagoon/valley environments.

The operation is implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the National Programme PN FEAMPA 2021–2027.
Total amount: €26,856.29, of which EU contribution (50%): €13,428.15
Eligible Costs:
Total staff costs (University of Ferrara): €18,799.40
Purchase of materials for integrated polyculture: €8,056.89
Duration: 12 months
Expected Results:
Implementation in lagoon/valley environments of a scalable integrated multitrophic polyculture model (oysters/macroalgae); training of personnel.
